Windshield Wiper/washer Problems of Buick Lucerne

The contact owns a 2008 Buick Lucerne cxl. The contact noticed that the windshield washer was inoperable. The dealer was informed and advised the contact to leave the vehicle in his garage. 2007 Buick Lucerne windshield wiper failure. Consumer states that the windshield wipers made a sharp noise then stopped completely. Consumer could not see the vehicle left the road and hit a hedge in someone's yard. The consumer was informed the failure of the windshield wiper was due to a plastic clip that suddenly disengaged. The clip linked the wiper motor with the wiper blades.

When I wash my windshield, the drivers side does not dispense fluid properly. The fluid pools on the lower left side of the windshield rather than in front of the driver. This requires operation much longer than normal. In an ice storm on February 14th I had to refill the system every 25 miles. The dealer has replaced the left wiper assembly. The same condition exists with the new assembly.
