The contact took her vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing and the stated the door latch would need to be replaced and repainted. The vehicle was repaired. The failure recurred two additional times. Whenever the failure occurred the dealer repaired the door latch however, the failure continued to occur. The identical failure occurred with the rear passenger side exterior latch. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Buick Rainier. While parked, the contact stated that the front drivers side door would not open from the exterior. The door would only open from the interior. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the door handle was replaced. The failure recurred a second time. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was again repaired. The failure recurred a third time. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.
