It is an unfortunate fact that since moving to area federal hill this vehicle and driver has been illegally surveillanced the car has been broken into with no signs of forced entry. As usual the billboard is visible for locals to observe. My only issue is waiting to act. The vehicle is legal with no visible or internal issues. I drive the vehicle at a safe speed to avoid traffic accidents. There was a state inspection failure with no real reason, another issue. Cars have specifically attempted to run me off the road. I bought my car from a used car lot. I had it about 3-4 months and out of the blue it overheated very quickly, the warning light was on, some type of loud buzzer was going off so I pulled over and let it cool off, it took about 45 minutes but it started back up. I checked all the fluids and coolant levels and everything was ok. This continued to happen for about 3 weeks, quickly overheat, lights, alarms pulled over, checked fluids over and over. After about 3 weeks it would quickly overheat and then shut off on its own and several times it happened so fast I barely got off the road. I took it to a mechanic that drove it around a little until it overheated which at this point only took about 3 minutes to happen. He said there was air in my radiator and he released it and it was fixed, I drove about 3 miles and it overheated again so I returned to the same mechanic and after about 6 minutes he came and told me it was a head gasket but they didn't repair those there so I called the next closest mechanic who looked at the car for about 3 minutes, stuck an air hose in the radiator and he said it was blowing out gas fumes from the radiator meaning I had a cracked head. I had to tow it 200 miles to my house, my wife drove it back and forth to work which was only 1 miles from home, she was able to do that for about a month and then the engine would start stalling at different times such as slowing to turn, pulling in to park, and some times it would stall while driving in busy 4 lane roads. Well, a little over a month went by with all these things happening all the time and finally one day she came home from work and started to pull in the parking spot and it shut off again, we had to push it into the spot but once it shut off that day it has never started since.

My vehicle did not have heat. I was not able to determine if it was blowing cold air or not blowing at all. Before I had a chance to address the heating issue, the vehicle ran hot and continued to run hot until a mechanic replaced the thermostat and the coolant and cu at 2/3 slit in the rubber under the hood. It came to my attention that the vehicle had overheating problems before it was sold to me. I have since tried to sell it and found th st it was not accepted by two car buying/selling websites due to previous salvage. I purchased from a buy-here pay- here. It still has over heating issues and it still has not heat blowing inside. I want to know if repairs will help since it's regarded as a salvage. Is it lawful to sell a salvaged vehicle knowing the purchaser was putting the car on the road? I bought the car in ohio and I live in new york.

Fuel tank is defective, with the car in motion and stationary, when I put more than a half tank, gasoline will find a way out the tank, I already replaced the fuel tank for another original one and it was good for only 3 months. The traction system when the car is in motion and stationary is always giving an error on the computer and making funny noises and sometimes brakes make a noise like ta ta ta because of the traction system. Battery system is a joke I had to replace and put the battery terminals on the top because cables get disconnected from the original way. I would like to see more recalls on this car, so many problems and my car have a little over 80,000 miles.

Gas tank started leaking from connection where filler tube meets the gas tank. Other models were included in a recall but not the Rendezvous model I have.

I am having trouble out of my vehicle. I have replace several parts and still have not solved the problem. For instance, when I drive my car and cut it off I have to wait 30-45 mins. Before it will start again. I have changed the fuel pump 3 times and other parts of the car and I have not yet found a solution to my problem. I have had the truck for a year and eight months. The vehicle is motion but it cuts off and I have to wait 30-45 mins. Before my truck can restart. It's been going on for some months and I have changed many parts and it still does the same thing.

I had about $1700 worth of work done to the underneath of my vehicle. . . The lights such as service engine soon and abs keep coming on. . . I had to put my brakes on and the anti lock brakes came on and I tried to press on the gas to go and it cut the power drastically on me little to none but if I lift my foot back up and I try to start agian it allows me to drive but then if I need to go up a hill or pass someone it loses the power when I put the gas pedal more than a 3rd of the way down. And it will not stop doing this. . I am extremely concerned as no mechanic seems to know how to fix this and I live on a fixed income and need my car to get around.

Driving down the road over heat light comes on tried everything took to service and head caskets need replaced! 28 days after purchasing a used as is vehicle!everything I had to purchase a junk. Looks good on the outside and run good for first few weeks even took to midas before purchasing all the fixes all very well hidden.

Rear hatch assist strap has been replaced for the 3rd time. Each time time strap has broken unexpectedly causing the person to lose his balance and fall.

It started overheating , a very reputable mechanic checked it , said it was possible radiator , then said said may be gaskets . I saw where others had overheating problems on the internet . Will the company pay for this to be fixed and are their other safety issues with this car I have a disabled son and do not want to be out in it and have it catch fire or worse . A older lady owned it and her sister sold it to us when she had to go into the nursing home its been well taken of its a four door.

When driving on the highway, white/terrible smelling smoke came rolling out of the vents inside my vehicle. It was so bad that I had to pull over, as it was burning my throat/nose/eyes and made me dizzy- this was in a matter of just a few short minutes. No dashboard lights or other signs of vehicle malfunction occurred at that time; however, this was a very alarming safety situation for my children, who were also in the vehicle. . . ! the fire department was called, along with the police and a tow truck; as I obviously was not willing to drive the vehicle any further! disturbingly, my insurance company (CO) has been very unwilling to assist me through this dangerous occurrence; needless to say, I will no longer be a customer of CO's ever again- and I will never stop warning my family/friends/the community about the dangers of this type of situation, along with highly advising them to not put their lives at risk by having CO as an insurance company!!!!!!.

I parked my car in a lot. 2 hours later, I went to start it and it wouldn't even turn over . Someone gave me a jump start and it started immediately. A few hours later, same thing. Nix morning however, it started fine. Battery was tested and works normal. Replaced starter and cylanoid. Same problem and nothing changed. I decided to check the fuses. All of them ok. I found that if I remove one of the fuses and use a paper clip in 2 of the 4 openings, it starts the car in the on position. Security light comes on too.

I've had so many problems with this vehicle. Spent over $4000 in repairs in the last 6 months. The first problem I had was while driving on the highway the reduced engine power light and traction system light would come on and the vehicle would just decelerate and wouldn't go over 15mph. I had it repaired once and was told it was the wiring harness and then 2 months later the same thing happened again had it repaired and was told it was the wiring harness and computer that needed replaced. And now I'm having a similar issue but this time the service engine soon light is flashing but the car doesn't want to accelerate and takes several seconds to even get up to 35 mph. I had this repaired once and was told it was a wiring/fuse issue and that the car was only running on 3 cylinders and literally 2 days after the repair it started happening again. This is ridiculous. My mechanic even told me I should just get rid of the vehicle because it obviously has major wiring issues. It only has 130,000 miles.

For the third time in about two weeks, my car had the "reduced engine power" light pop up and it just slowly came to a stop while driving on the highway. The second time it happened I also lost power steering. Each time I managed to pull over to the side of the road and I jump started the car. Another reported incident on here said that they just waited a few minutes to restart it, but I have a portable device that allowed me to jump start my car immediately. I went to autozone to test the alternator and the battery and both were fine. This may or may not be unrelated, but whenever I start my car I usually have to press the gas pedal a little bit or the car won't start properly.

In the spring of 2012 (approximately 48,000 miles), I was driving in a 40 - 45 mph zone, made a sharp left turn into a parking lot and the engine shut down and power steering to shut down. I previously reported this incident to my local Buick dealer, pinegar Chevrolet, branson, mo, just to have this incident on record. On December 29, 2014 (89,000 miles) this same type event occurred when slowing down (in a 45 mph zone) and making a sharp left turn into a parking lot. Car shut off, had to completely stop, place gear in park and restart. Sounds like same ignition issues discovered in gm cars recently, but the Buick Rendezvous has not been included.

The fuel line runmig from the engine to the fuel filter got a slow leak in it, filled the inside of the SUV with fumes and we had to pull over to air out the car then the fuel line split and fell off and gas spilled out and overcome the inside of the car with fumes. When repaired immediately, the mechanic determined the line accumulated excessive moisture and heat and caused it to break when it got hot several times.

Traveling on highway, roads were wet but not icy. Hit a wet spot on a curve. Slid slightly to the right and passenger tire dropped off pavement. Easily corrected back onto the road, but then the back hydroplaned and the vehicle rolled over and crashed, landing upside down in a culvert. Driver and front seat passenger transported to local hospital via squad. Vehicle totaled by insurance. None of the airbags deployed.

Driving down the road when the reduced engine power light came on the service traction control light come on the service engine light came on and the trac off light came on. Couldn't drive faster then 20mph.

This has happened quite a few times when I am traveling. The ignition sticks when I try to start the car, when I turn the key on to start it, the ignition sticks and it won't start it just keeps turning over. It's very scary, it has even happened when I am not traveling, when the car is just sitting in my driveway and I am going somewhere try to start it and the ignition sticks.

We were traveling on the interstate at 65 miles per hour on June 5, 2016 and June 11, 20176. The vehicle just went totally dead. The motor, the power steering, everything. . . Went totally dead. I was in the passing lane and a transfer truck was on my tail and I had to go into the grass median to avoid getting smashed and the truck had to swerve over to miss me. After repeated attempts to restart the car, it started. I went straight to an auto repair shop and they checked my starter, alternator, and battery. Those things were ok and they suggested maybe I had bad gas. On 6/11/13, I was on the road again doing 65 and with no warning whatsoever, the vehicle went dead just like the week before. I was able to pull into a turn lane barely avoiding a rear end collision. We took the car to a repair shop. . When we went to get the car, they told us it was the ignition part that gm was recalling. The mechanic tapped on the part while the vehicle was running and it died immediately. He also asked us if the airbag warning light had been coming on. We said yes it had been for about two months and the check engine light had been on a lot during the last month. We contacted the gm and talked to customer service who told us the rendevous was not yet on the recall list and I would have to pay for the repair myself. I went to the local gm dealer, bachman bernard, and the manager told me he could not help me. He said they were independent of gm and if they fixed it, they would not be able to recoup the cost from gm. Do I have any other recourse? is it going to take a family being killed in a rendevous before gm will take responsibility for this very well known part defect? I have lived through two miracles where my family could easily have been killed because of this known defective part. If I have to pay for this repair, is there a way I can be reimbursed by gm?.

The Buick Rendezvous would not start after our son little practice had to tow out of park. Electrical ignition switch had to be replaced by local mechanic. Also out of every 10 starts 2 or 3 have a hard time starting and when you drive on road and push gas pedal it seems like it will stall completely I went to Buick dealer but he told me there is no reacall on this car. I am afraid it will stall on road my kids are in this car all the time I am afraid for them the dealer said he would take a look but I would have to pay to fix because this is not part of recall I think this is horrible treatment of regular people taking money and more money and not concerned about safety what country is this. Usa or some 3rd world country all I want is gm to fix relay between key and ignition switch and change computer module under hood and give me new key I have always bought gm but them and their dealers are making pray everyday that nothing happens to my family in their car.

Abs light and awd disable, brakes locking up.

The speedometer stops working correctly. While traveling at highway speeds the speedometer will read anywhere between below 0 mph and 30 mph. It happens regardless of the weather. There have been multiple occurances that the speedometer is working correctly, (confirmed by calculations using time, mile markers & odometer readings,) and at any point during travel it will stop and the needle is observed to gradually drop below the 0 mph mark. Sometimes restarting, whether by turning off the ignition or using the autostart to remove the key while leaving the vehicle running, will temporarily correct the problem. The problem was noted by an independent mechanic at the end of September while addressing potential transmission issues. (which also has not been resolved. The mechanic was unable to find a cause to "hard shift" problem that began several months ago. ) the currently mileage on the vehicle is approximately 81,200 miles. It is being taken to a mechanic this week to address the issue.

We bought the car from a used dealership in oct. 2013. Just over a month later we are having problems with the vehicle. The light came on, on the dash saying abs disabled. As this comes if you are slowing down you literally have to pump the break to stop. This is scary especially when you are trying to come to a stop behind someone and you are not sure if you are going to have enough distance to come to a complete stop before hitting the car in front of you. This light likes to come on while we are driving roughly 65 on the interstate as well, not really effecting driving just stopping. We have already paid to have it fixed in December of 2013 was told it was a bad abs sensor on the front wheel. Well here we are only a few month later and its happening all over again. We figured we would look into recalls before we go and pay to have it fixed again because it's looking like it's going to be a reoccurring problem.

I am a 70 year old woman. This is the last car my husband purchased before he lost his battle with cancer in 2009. He is a retiree from gm. He left me what I thought was a good car. I went out to start to go to my daughters in another town that day my car was dead! no lights nothing. My son took me got a battery car seem to run okay that evening. The next day or two dead again! well this time I had to wait a week or so for help! after 5 batteries we took my car to the dealership. They charged me like crazy for dignostics and checjed my battery, starter, and alternator! they said my battery was bad! so 170 dollars for that then my breaks needed done myntires needed air or sealed, list of things. So okay battery done car running fix breaks etc. 2000,00 later two days later car is dead! take it to dealership again! 1 week later now they say more testing, find a module gone bad 600. 00 more! come get car its dead! wait 2 more days! battery again! get it home 1 week later car is dead! has to to dealership again! do you see the pattern, this is over a 2- 3 month period! cold cold weather only! now the next reoccurring problem! 5 times replacing the awd harnesses and misc parts! and since all the trouble at dealership now they want more money for more test! that they should have already done! day 1! and now my cluster behind my dash is bad and my check engine light has come back on! please help me! thanks.

Had battery replaced during routine maintenance. After two days the car would not start battery was dead. After the 3rd battery we took the cat to the dealer. Thet checked everything said it was the battery again!!! so we had it replaced at that time. We also had them fix the abs for the 3rd time in 5 years. The car was at home two days later would not start! had it checked this time it was a module and then the dash cluster wnet out while they were fixing the car. Still same problems took the car out again this time after gm called us. They kept the car for three weeks, said it was a short in the stereo. Now 1 week later car is dead again!!!!!.

We found out that we had a problem with my wife's vehicle. Initially, the vehicle was stationary. I took it to get an oil change and was asked to come into the shop to be shown that the antifreeze was like yogurt in the reservoir. We were told that we needed a coolant flush. This led to being told that we needed a new radiator; bypass hose; and last but not least, head gasket job amounting to approximately 1600. 00. We were told that there was no open recall but yet there was litigation going on regarding dex-cool antifreeze and that it was causing all of the problems that were and are having with this vehicle.

The service traction system light is on, and the traction off light is on, and the anti-lock brake light is also on. I was backing up when this first happened, and now the lights all come on everytime I am in the car.

The steering grinds and the power brakes dont stop unless you pump them when this happens,its not all the time,and the shifting gear broke while I was parked trying to put it into reverse. Have had to replace head caskets two times since I bought this now having problems with gas smell when I turn on heater whats next its got about 51000 miles on it.

Over heating for no reason. Sometimes the fuel line seems clogged or full but will act as if it out of gas. Have changed the alternator and distributor and the problem is still occuring. Was told that it was a radiator but there seems to be a defect with the fuel system. Some days it will start to run hot and if you keep yoyr foot on the gas the hot temp will go down. Leaking out gas from left side as well as blowing out white smoke as if the engine is blown but I know its a good engine. Some days the car will run fine but it seems to. Me like the cold weather causes matbe sensor issues with the fuel system. Also the gas light will come on spiratically like when you hit a pot hole like there is an short.

I recently purchased a 2005 Buick Rendezvous cxl. As I was exiting the driver side door, the inner door handle gave me a fairly deep paper- like cut. There seems to be a rough edge on the handle that almost looks like the metal coating is peeling or separating and it sliced my middle finger on my left hand. I'm not very impressed and I am wondering how often this is going to happen? I think this should be a definite recall. It is not a life threatening injury, but very concerning considering I have 3 children and it couldv'e been one of them that received the injury instead of me.

The contact owns a 2002 Buick Rendezvous. The contact stated that he had three flat tires on his vehicle. The dealer stated that the valve stems caused the tires to deflate. The dealer had to replace the valve stems. The valve stem manufacterer is dill and the part number is act# 444tr4t3. The VIN was not available. The manufacturer has not been notified.

I purchased my Buick Rendezvous in 2007 from my mother who only had it 2 years. Since I purchased this vehicle, I have had 8 wheelbearings replaced, and 2 hub assemblies, along with the wiring harness for the abs. The vehicle will sometimes 'rub' when turning the steering wheel, or sometimes the brakes will 'rub'. After this happens, the abs light comes on as well as the awd disabled light. I had purchased the extended warranty, and that covered the wheelbearing issues, and one of the hub assembly fixes. I think I have spent more on repairs for this vehicle in the past 6 years then I paid to buy it. Not a year goes by that I dont have to have something replace in order for it to pass inspection. My vehicle now has 118000 miles on it.

2002 Buick Rendezvous started making noise. When turning on ventilation control to 60 degrees to get a/c to turn on due to it being our first hot day of the season, noticed compressor was not kicking in nor was the vehicle cooling off. Dealer states condenser has failed at 40,000 miles and requires replacing. Cost at dealership $925. Seems to be a pattern of the number of complaints related to condenser.
