Power Steering Fluid Problems of Buick Rendezvous

When I would start my car in the morning, I would get a overwhelming gas smell in my to point of me thinking gas was leaking underneath my and I would get out and check and nothing. I took it to a mechanic and asked him if the car was leaking gas and he said no. I'm constantly adding power steering fluid to my vehicle at least twice a month . And recently my speedometer needle has started sticking and sometimes not working at all. Ironically my gas needle is always fluctuating throughout my car trips. I'm so nervous when I drive because I think I'm about to run out of gas even though I may have recently added gas to the car. This may sound simple but the gas fumes are making me sick and my two kids especially since all of us suffer from asthma. Please provide a resolution or fix for these unhealthy incidents.

When pulling into 0r out of parking spot you get a humming sound at slow speed seems to be in the rear of car I think does not sound like power steering whine ck the fluid in power steering it is fine no leaks.

The contact owns a 2003 Buick Rendezvous which was purchased new in 2003. She stated that the power steering failed on the vehicle and over time it developed a slow leak. There were repairs made to the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. It became extremely hard to utilize the steering wheel and when attempting to put power steering fluid in the vehicle, it would leak back out. The hub bearings also failed causing the brakes to function improperly when attempting to stop and early wear and tear on her tires. No additional repairs made to the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were under 90,000.

My Buick renedezous' power steering gear went out at 4500miles and there is still a squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel. Now the car has 43000 and the condenser has to be repaired for $1000. 00. I thought I bought a great vehicle but I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. Oh, the buttons on the steering wheel (volume knobs) have been replaced twice.
