Upon arriving at my destination and after I put my in park I was unable to turn my engine off because the ignition was stuck in that position. I ultimately had no choice but to unhook the battery cables along with disconnecting the alternator to get my engine to turn off. Prior to this incident occasionally upon starting my car the ignition would not disengage immediately upon the engine turning over which ultimately resulted in having to replace the starter on this vehicle. I am a single parent and only have one vehicle so this is a major issue for my family. Furthermore the fan speed control knob doesnt work properly because when it is put in position 3 it shuts the fan motor off completely. So there clear to me that there seems to be a major electrical issue. The suspension on this vehicle is horrendous. I cannot go above 45mph without by car wanting to go into on-coming traffic or off of the road or trying to flip over on its side because the shocks/struts on the passenger side are not working properly. I have not used this vehicle for any other purpose then to transport myself and children to and from work/school/appointments. Everyone I spoke to about this particular vehicle has said that these vehicles were manufactured poorly and repairs come at a high cost.

It feels like the transmission is going out but only sometimes. On occasion it will be driving fine then I go to pull off from a stop and it just wont really go like maybe skips 1st gear or at least part of it. It's crazy and dangerous. I do not believe it to be the transmission. Only happens from complete stop, sometimes. Buick Rendezvous 05.
I was driving in right lane, someone cut me off, by switching lanes & cutting in front of me as light turned green. I pressed on my brakes, wich went all the way to the floor, hitting the person in front of me. I found out later that I injured my left knee, displaced my knee cap. I was traveling alone. Airbags did not activate. During the second incident my daughters where traveling with me. My daughter's were with me. I enter road from right, heard a popping noise. Pressed brakes which went to the floor, car seem to accelerate and I ran into the back of the car. Airbags once again didn't activate. Stunned from the weirdness of the incident I couldn't think. I told her I was ok. After getting back in car I was hurting & so were my daughters. Life changed for us. They have back & neck issues. We see varior doctors to manage pain.
I purchased a used car from jim doran auto center3075 n hwy 99w po box 598 mc minngville, or 97128 503-472-3131 this vehicle was advertised as a "cream puff" meaning the vehicle was in excellent condition and after I received it in California it cost me over $3,000 in repairs. Please remember that even know the SUV sold to me by this dealership was sold (as-is) but advertised and a car in excellent condition. I have paid over $3,000 in repairs to this car just to bring it up to pass a dmv vehicle inspection for California. Some kind of resolution to satisfy me monetarily for the repairs for the false advertising that this dealership posted online for the sale of the vehicle. The car sold to 2004 Buick Rendezvous sold (as-is) but the SUV was advertised as a "cream puff" being in excellent condition and it's been anything but! the value of the vehicle is just under $6,000 in excellent condition and this vehicle was not even in fair condition.
I was driving the vehicle to an appointment and all of a sudden it thumbed when I moved from the light taking off not like it was shifting but as something was knocked in, then the lower light I turn on in the truck stopped working, the interior dash lights as well stopped on the 11 of March about 6 pm I was heading back in from out of town had to position my cell phone so I could see what speed I was going, the turning to the right knocks like something is about to fall off, and the to top it off the wiper from the back window leaks in the inside when I try to clean with fluid, the seat belt as well is not locking I and my on star it reads and talks as I tried to set up an account the system failed and my engine stalls as well the temperature gauge runs hot if I go in town and stop at the lights I checked the fluid and it is in their I called gm and they quote and quote say their was never a recall on my vehicle but I see online that their was why is it that they can't seem to locate any information I hate that I am always getting duped in with these vehicles and then I get more depressed and shut down and feel like all my funds mean nothing to any one.
My last alignment was at the extreme of correction. I was told any further adjustments would require taking apart the front wheel section and drilling new holes to put in new adjusters. The car has 38k miles. I was told this was not a warranty item and it would cost over $200. 00.
2006 Rendezvous tire pressure was low on all four tires. The vehicle is equipped with 17 inch wheels. A few days after the vehicle was purchased the consumer noticed that the vehicle lacked the smooth ride and stability as his previous 2003 model. The consumer notified the dealer of the problem. The consumer checked the tire pressure and it was 28 psi in all four tires. The consumer increased the air to 35 psi as recommended but the vehicle became even more difficult to control at highway speeds.
Vehicle pulled to left when accelerating. Dealer rotated tires and did an alignment. Currently, vehicle pulls to right. Vehicle has been taken to dealer a total of 7 times, dealer stated there was nothing else they could do.
