My wife was driving our 1998 Cadillac Catera when another car ran a stop sign forcing my wife's car into a collision t-boning the other car. The approximate speed of our car during the impact was at least thirty miles per hour. Our Cadillac was written off in the accident however even though this was a hard front end collision there was no airbag deployment in our car. My wife sustained some injuries however because she was wearing her seat belt she was released from the hospital 4 days later!.

The contact owns a 2001 Cadillac Catera. While traveling 15 mph and attempting a right turn, the front driver air bag independently deployed. The vehicle was not diagnosed and there were no prior warnings of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The current and failure mileage was 26,000.

While turning a corner at 10 mph consumer's vehicle was broad sided on the right side by another vehicle. There were four passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision. All four passengers were wearing seat belts, but none of the four air bags deployed. Police arrived on the scene and no one was cited.

Consumer states that while driving the vehicle at 45mph and with no warning both front air bags deployed. Dealer notified.
Consumer was driving on highway at approximately 42 mph on normal road condition all of a sudden had to apply emergencey brakes, but rear ended vehicle in front. Impact was done at approximately 35 mph. Neither air bags of consumer's vehicle depolyed. Dealer notified.
While driving, consumers wife heard what sounded like a gun shot with a bullet crashing through the passengers front side window, she then swerved into another lane, after being able to pull over she discovered that the white smoke and noise was the result of the passenger air bag which had deployed.
