I saw a blue spake when I had gotten out of my car and left the door open. The spark was located on the inside of the drivers side door. I got back in my car. It showed that the drivers door was ajar. I reshot the door it still showed the door was ajar. I pressed the clear bottom the car seemed smoky I tried to roll down the window but my windows was not working nor was the radio. I drove a mile to my home and parked away from the house. I rushed to get everything out of the car. The trunk would not open so I let the back seat down so I could reach my things. The car continued to smoke and ended in a full blaze. We called 911 and the fire truck came and put out the fire.
6 disc cd changer continues to get stuck, after attempting and failing to get cds to eject, I have come to start my car in the morning and they had ejected themselves over night. Other times a continuous noise if power to radio was on would emit as if system was trying to eject cds on it's own but nothing would ever come out. In the end, resulting to even if power to radio was off, cd player still was making weird sounds even if key was not in ignition. All night and day the cd player would emit random noises that I believe may of caused my battery to be destroyed. After a few jump starts, a new battery was purchased. Once the new battery was installed, the cd disc changer has become dormant and makes no sound or any type of response to any control buttons. It won't even go to the cd setting or show any type of error code on the display panel/screen. The car acts as if a cd player never existed. No shop will even attempt to take a look at it to assess the issue under the $100 mark. As of this date and time, all I get to do is listen to the am/fm radio and an occasional cassette tape if I come across one. Very upset about that, considering Cadillac has other bose components, they could of splurged on a better cd system because Cadillac owners have to replace the whole cd system with after market products and lose the control panel display screens or keep the control display screen/panel and deal with only being able to play the radio/cassette player forever.
