Door Latch Problems of Cadillac CTS

The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that after entering the vehicle, the door locks activated and there was a loss of power. The contact was unable to open her doors and the on star service system failed. The contact stated that she was locked in her vehicle for over an hour. The contact was assisted by a fire department who was called to the scene. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the ecm module needed to be repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 63,000. Updated 8/27/cn.

2010 Cadillac Cts. Consumer states problem with brakes the consumer stated she began having problems with the brakes one week after purchasing the vehicle. The brakes were allegedly replaced in March 2010. Also, the driver's air bag compartment became loose and had to be repaired several times. In January 2011, the consumer became locked inside the vehicle. The problem was fixed in may 2011.

Rear doors will not close shut in cold temperatures. When contacting Cadillac, he was told that this issue was under investigation. This condition caused the door to come open while the consumer was driving.
