It happened to me several times when turning into parking space or pulling out of parking space my 2006 Cadillac Cts 3. 5 did not stop while braking the car in either direction. During that I felt a shudder sound coming out of front wheels and brake pedal traveled all the way to floor. At the same time a message ?service brakes assist? appeared on the vehicle information display window and the abs and traction control warning lights were turned on in the dash board. I took my car to more Cadillac local dealer at chantilly, va. And get it checked in reference to recall # 09149, but he told me that is not the issue because the front brake hose fitting are not corroded and he could not replicate the issue. I contacted gm customer service on 11/06/2014 and explained the situation of the issue. They assigned me a reference # 71-1386709185 and we had a conference call with the moore Cadillac service advisor. . Read more...

Driving down the interstate highway going about 65 - 69 mph, the right wheel tire started shaking violently, and squealing then, it started wobbling but I was able to get it to come to a complete stop after it spun around a few circles. I got out of the car and noticed that the right rear wheel was sticking out and crooked. I took the car to the dealership right after that, and they replaced the knuckle, link, bolt and tire rod. The suspension got extremely messed up that I've still been unable to get the suspension back to somewhat normal. This costed me 948. 01.

I was traveling at 25mph when there was a sudden very loud explosive/grinding noise(it brought people running out of adjacent buildings). I hit my brakes immediately, but the noise continued until I put it into park. I exited the car and under the rear axle of my vehicle were multiple large bolts and screws lined up in a row. The vehicle was totally disabled, and subsequently was towed to the dealer. They determined that all the rear axle bolts just fell out at once. There was no other damage found to the vehicle. My concerns remain as to "why did this happen" and "what if I had been going at an accelerated rate of speed"? multiple experienced mechanics and specialist (including Cadillac) have no answers to these questions and have never seen this happen before.

When backing out of driveway and turning the steering wheel to the right we noticed a pronounced thump that was very noticeable and worrisome. We checked with the dealer and couldn't find the problem and the dealer checked with general motors who said it was a design flaw and couldn't do anything about it. It has been doing the same thing up to this date. The thump is so great we wonder if it is not damaging the car.
