Two problems related to tire have been reported for the 1997 Cadillac Deville. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The aluminum wheels corroded on the inner seal of the tire rim. This was discovered by a tire dealer when the vehicle was taken to a tire service dealer for a loss of air of those tires. These were factory directed wheels that came on vehicle at purchase and had 42,000 miles on the tires. They were corrosive. They were grounded down and placed a black adhesive to seal the tires by the tire dealer. Contacted the dealer and general motors, who noted this was out of warranty and did not want to replace the wheels. No corrections or repairs other than the service the tire service dealer performed.
While driving vehicle will vibrate. Dealership indicated that this was caused by all four tires being out of round. They had high spots in them. These are 70,000 mile tires. Not original equipment.
