One problem related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1998 Cadillac Deville. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake line ruptured due to it chafing against the frame, this caused vehicle to crash into another vehicle, an independent inspector verified that the steel braided brake lines were rubbing on the frame and wore through causing breake fluid loss, there were no injuries in accident.
