general problems of the 2001 Cadillac Deville

Was involved in a front end crash going 48mph and the drivers side air bag or any other air did not deploy. There was so much damage to the front end that the car was totaled a complete loss. I would like car to be inspected for faulty air bags and also front end for faulty equipment as did not hold up well with crash. This vehicle only had 78,000 miles and was in perfect condition prior to crash. I was told there was a recall on the airbags and with that much damage and speed they should of been deployed this is a major safety violation. I was driving east bound at 48 mph car in front slammed on brakes I tried to avoid them and went to the right but there was a pole and another truck so I pulled back to left and it the car in the rear. At no time did the air bags deploy I would like an investigation started prior to car being totaled and removed by insurance company.

I put my car in drive and it felt and sounded like the entire front end fell out,my electric shows everything works , have also had weird thing come up that I can not turn security off, it started over heating I have fixed everything but will still get extreamly hot for no reason,.

My first window broke about 6 months ago. My second one 3 weeks ago and tonight a third. Can Cadillac be responsible and can they be made to take care of these costs?.

Car keeps stalling out (at light, while driving, etc) with the cause apparently attributed to a faulty ignition switch. I had the ignition switch replaced (for a charge of $496) at midway Cadillac in pokomoke MD (after having car towed there on Feb 14, 2014, because at that time, had difficulty even getting the key in the ignition switch). The problem I was having with it stalling out persists, even after the new ignition switch. Writing because the ignition-switch-related problems I am having appear to be the same or similar to other gm cars which are currently being recalled due to ignition switch problems. Please include the Cadillac Deville 2001 into your investigation regarding faulty ignition switches of gm-made cars.

I have no lights inside, no backup lights, it is misfiring, it cuts off as I am driving,seat belt will not luck on passenger side.

Window regulators are faulty. When they break the window glass falls to the bottom of the door panel. This has happened twice and is a safety hazard at highway speeds especially in inclement weather. An internet search reveals this is a common problem with Cadillac.
