My car was parked in my garage when the horn sounded extremely loud and would not stop I could not stop it so I took it to shop. The dealer says that airbag shorted out and shorted out the horn. They want to replace airbag and horn at a cost of $1109 was this airbag recalled?.
The ignition switch on our 2002 dhs Cadillac went out in April, 2014; mileage 91,000. We live in cove, oregon. We had to have it towed fro,m our garage 15 miles to legacy Ford in lagrande, oregon. The total cost was towing 152. 00, ignition switch installation 295. 65. Due to the recent recall on ignitioin switches to so many other gm vehicles it seem reasonable to me that it is possible our Cadillac could be part of this recall. I would appreciate this notification being included in the recall.
