The window regulator on the rr window of my 2005 Cadillac Deville is refective. My window is down and won't come back up although the motor power is running to the window the regulator is broken. I have checked the complaints and noted that there are several complaints regarding defective window regulators on this model of Deville which in 2002 through 2005. I called the dealer and they knew exactly what the problem was and said it would cost over $500. 00 to replace. This is only one window. There is the possibility that this could occur three more times. I know several people with this model Deville ( not this year) that have the same problem but can not afford to get the part replaced consequently they are driving around with no window in the back. I feel this is unsafe for children and pets. As well as dangerous for leaving your car out. I would appreciate if you would check into this. I think it has not been addressed because the complaints appear to be unrelated. However taken as a whole for all the years it is significant. I you look at the window regulators you will see the problem. I do not know how to get Cadillac to address this problem.
All the windows have fallen down one time or another in the past 6 months! on june28th 2011 I replaced the front passenger regulator. Just to have it fail again under four months. I only used the window three times! I have read all the complaints from other owners of this year of Cadillac power window problems and their should be a recall! this is the worst car I have ever owned. It is a hunk of junk!!! this latest regulator problem happened two hours ago! October 23rd 2011.
I have experienced two power window failures on my 2004 Deville within a one month period while driving. Windows fell into the doors, front and back, and would not railse. Both failures were on a car with 55 thousand miles on it. Dealer repaired it at the cost of $686. 00. Contacted Cadillac customer service with them refusing to admit there is a problem and unwilling to offer any compensation toward the repairs. I am waiting for the other two to fail. Relative has a 2003 Deville and has had three windows repaired already. I feel that this is a safety issue and a recall is in order, now!.
The dash lights are only readable at night or during a heavily overcast day when headlights are not required. The vehicle came equipped with smoke plastic covers that covered the dashboard panel.
Right front head lamp lense fell off. Repaired February 19, 2003. Left front head lamp lense fell off, December 19, 2001. These head lamps are not sealed properly causing lense to fall off. When brought in February 19, 2003 a 1998 Cadillac came in behind mine and I ask the driver if he had the same problem and he stated that his right lense had fallen off. Checking with the parts department I was informed they keep plenty of these in stock as it happens frequently. When the first one fell off it was repaired under the warranty. I purchased a extended warranty from the dealership and was informed it was identical to the original warranty but extended for 2 additional years and 25,000 miles. When I had the second lense replaced on February 19, 2003 the service advisor informed me it was not covered under the extended warranty. Cadillac is charging $245. 00 for a defected part plus tax and labor.

None.
The (tpm) system indicates 4 pounds different from gauge reading. The dealer confirmed the discrepancy. This could become a safety hazard due to improper pressure being maintained in the tires. This is somewhat similar to the Ford / firestone controversy. A defective indication can be dangerous.
While driving in the day light won't be able to see the dashboard, and was unable to read the speed without taken eyes off the road.

A shroud that extends from the center of the console down towards the carpet on the drivers side leaves a gap of several inches between the end and the carpeted floor, when the consumer moves foot from the accelerator to apply the brake his foot gets caught and impedes his ability to apply the brake.
