Tl the contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. The contact stated that there was evidence of an oil leak underneath the vehicle. The contact stated that there was an abnormal oil burning odor coming from the engine compartment while driving. The oil level warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to classic Buick GMC arlington at (400 e interstate 20, arlington, TX 76018) where it was diagnosed that the oil pan and master kit gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

2 Engine Burning Oil problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2013

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 mph, the contact smelled oil burning inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was oil leaking from the engine gaskets and the gaskets needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000. Sg.
