Ignition Switch problems of the 2007 Cadillac DTS

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. The contact received a notification for NHTSA campaign number: 14v355000 (electrical system). However, the part needed to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. In addition, when shifting into reverse, the vehicle moved forward. The contact stated that the failure recurred. The vehicle was towed to the contact¿s residence and, after parking, all the exterior lights illuminated independently.
