1 Automatic Stability Control (asc) problem

Failure Date: 05/25/2006

: the contact stated while driving at various speeds the automatic stability control (asc) light illuminates. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership on multiple occasions where the asc sensor was replaced. Each time replacement has not remedied the problem. A manufacturer representative inspected the vehicle and determined no repairs are available at this time.

2 Automatic Stability Control (asc) problem

Failure Date: 02/14/2004

Inquiry about the stabilitrak system installed in the 2002 Cadillac Escalade SUV. As the right wheels touched a short patch of slush, there was a quick clockwise pivot that felt perpendicular to the highway facing to the right. Possibly the stabilitrak system had reacted in a way that would spin the vehicle.

3 Automatic Stability Control (asc) problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2002

The stabilizer track came on while driving on dry pavement. The vehicle has been to two different dealers on two separate occasions. The first dealer could not locate a problem and the second dealer replaced the sensors and the problem continued.
