Takara recall: in 2015 my Cadillac Escalade was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which the airbag deployed and exploded with a bunch of smoke and awful smell in the air and some debris. The vehicle was in motion in hit a midsize Honda accord head on. I was traveling straight on a city street. I was faulted since I was reaching for my gps navigation device that had fallen on the floor. The cause for the malfunction to me is unknown. I was definitely injured in the accident but I only had liability insurance at the time and it only covered the other party since I was faulted.
