He contact owns a 2009 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving on a local street going approximately 35 mph he heard a noise coming from the engine. The vehicle was shuddering then he pulled over and turned the car off and restarted. The contact drove to a local mechanic rc auto repair and it was diagnosed as mist fire in the cylinders by a faulting camshaft. The vehicle was not repaired nor was the manufacturer notified. The check engine light did illuminate. The failure mileage was 117,000.
