Exhaust manifold bolts sherd off causing engine misfir. Leading to a very costly repair. Mech. Said that this happens on all the gm of a similar design, at highway speed don't notice the roughness. When you come to a stop and can realy feel the cylinder miss firing. Fault code saide number was mis-firing.

The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while starting the ignition, when the check engine warning light was illuminated and he heard an abnormal noise. The contact stated he changed the spark plugs, wires and coils, but continued to experience the vehicle the vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the lifter to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 91,000.
