Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2016 Cadillac Escalade

Tl- the contact owns a 2016 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that while driving approximately 42 mph they noticed another vehicle going the wrong direction and heading towards them. The contact swerved the vehicle to the left in order to avoid a collision with the other vehicle. The contact stated the vehicle then ended up off the road eventually hitting a rock in alawn nearby. The vehicle's front end was severly damaged as parts of the vehicle's front end was no longer attached to the vehicle. The contact stated the vehicle's airbags did not deploy and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer as of yet. The contact received injuries to their back and arm, however, no medical attention was needed. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 19v645000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the scheduled appointment date for the repair had not come before the incident.
