Tire Problems of Cadillac SRX

Vehicle is low mileage for its age (@ 30,000 miles) . Four (4) goodyear tires identified in this report were purchase 04/28/2024 and as of 07/01/2024 had been driven @ 600 miles. On 07/01/2024, the rear drivers' side tire deflated while the vehicle was operational. Vehicle was immediately pulled off the roadway into a parking lot. Tire was removed by roadside service and at that time was noticed a clear "rupture" (although the tire was deflated, the sidewall had a noticeable bulge covering approximately 20% of the tires sidewall surface).

I rec'd a litter dated 12/15/23 from sentury tire regarding a recall on these tires. I called them on 1/16/24 and was told to submit an online form and tire pics which I did. I was to hear back within 24-48 hours and did not. I called them again on 1/22/24 and after several mins, was told to submit another online form and tire pics which I did. I rec'd an email from them on 1/24/24 indicating they rec'd my form but need me to submit tire pics again. By 1/29/24 I still had not heard from sentury tire and called them again. My name and phone number was taken and I was told it would be escalated. Also on 1/29/24 I sent follow up emails on 2/1/24 and 2/5/24 requesting to be contacted. I rec'd an email response on 2/6/24 indicating one tire is part of the recall (1tb6jp15c1723) and one is not (1tb6jp15c1923). The other two tires only have 1tb6jp15c stamped on them-the last 4 digits are not on the last 2 tires. The 2/6/24 email to me also stated "I will have a representative contact you to assist you further and get your tire replaced. " I have not been contacted since then and have sent follow up emails on 2/7/24 and 2/12/24. I have not received any email or phone contact at all.

2016 Cadillac Srx consumer writes in regard the recall notice on the toe link adjusters and tire wear in the rear tires, they were bald, and both rear tires had cords showing. After replacing the tires, it was determined the left rear shock was leaking, and they were replaced.

My car was wrecked at the dealership in oakhurst, new jersey on February 4,2016. The dealership is gold coast Cadillac. They sent it to freehold collision and it was not repaired correctly. It cost $11,622. 15 and the door on the passenger side was not put on straight. The car was not safely repaired and my name was forged on the documents by gold coast Cadillac.

I purchased a new 2014 Cadillac Srx. After less than two years and 24,728 miles the dealer tells me my tires are worn out. I question the dealer because I have maintained the tires in accordance with gm and Cadillac guidelines. I did not understand why a 40k vehicle would have sold new would require new tires when less than two years old. The quality of the tires been sold on new vehicles needs to be investigated. This is a total misrepresentation to the consumer.

Mounted on my new vogue 2010 Srx cad (VIN: 3gyfnaey8as573961) were 275-45-20 tires on 8" wheels. Instead of p235/65r 18. I believe that this has caused ongoing (since time of vehicle purchase) lost of tire air pressure and/or possible hub bearing issues; as well is a safety issue.

The contact owns a 2009 Cadillac Srx with goodyear eagle rsa 235/65/17 255/60/17 original equipment tires. The contact stated that on the inside of all four tires the belts were separated. Good year was notified and stated they would give him 30% off of the list price. The tires have been replaced with a different brand of tires. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.

Tires out of balance had them balanced 5 times without results found out that 3 of the 4 tires were out of round. The tires have only 5,000 miles on them. The dealer said that the warranty only covers the tire during the first 1/32 of ware. I took the vehicle in . The so called balanced the tires and after 5 times they found the tires out of round. I believe that the tire mfg. Should replace the tires.
