Sensing System Camera Problems of Cadillac XT5

The contact owns a 2023 Cadillac Xt5. The contact stated that while reversing from the garage, the rear-view on the camera screen was working as designed; however, the camera screen turned dark in the daylight. While continuing to reverse down the driveway, the screen corrected independently. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the contact was informed that the function operated as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was referred to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15.
