1999 Chevrolet 1500 experiencing problems with the brakes. Customer stated abs light kicks on when applying the brake and vehiche will not come to a complete stop. Removed both front senors, reinstalled and rechecked, ok.
The abs went out on my 1999 Chevrolet siverado, dealer states can't keep part on shelf(so many going out). Dealer wants $1200 plus installation. Many friends have same. 40,000 miles and winters here, not safe to let my wife drive w/children in truck. Driving without abs at this time.
Abs brake module / motor pump failure abs light comes on and stays on and motor underneath truck runs all the time. Had to disconnect the 60 amp fuse to stop the motor /pump.
