1 Brake Fluid Leak problem

Failure Date: 04/19/2014

Was sitting at red light and brake pedal starting going to floor and started rolling, so I pushed harder and stopped pulled over in aparking lot . I got under truck and brake fluid was leaking under driver door, brake line was leaking , the lines were rusty. ,am going to replace all brake lines with stainless steel lines so they will not rust again. I checked internet and seen this was a common problem on chevy trucks.

2 Brake Fluid Leak problem

Failure Date: 05/27/2012

I was going to stop at a traffic light and the brake pedal went to the floor. I was lucky that there was no one in front of me and that I still had the front brakes. I limped it home and when I got back brake fluid was dripping out of the lines that run on the frame just under the gas tank. Everything under the truck is rusted. The rocker panels are also rusted out. The truck bed is rusted on all sides as well. I have also had to replace the straps holding the gas tank on. They were completely rusted. I had one strap that had fallen off when I took it in for repair.

3 Brake Fluid Leak problem

Failure Date: 07/03/2011

Pulled into a shopping center parking lot from highway. Drove approximately100ft. , when the brakes were applied the brake pedal went to floorboard. I was able to slow down and pull into a parking space and stop. Looked for any signs of leaking brake fluid but did not see any. I was able to make it home (about 2 miles). Upon arriving home I noticed large amounts of brake fluid in the right front fender well and engine compartment. Upon looking further and wiping down excess brake fluid I noticed a heavy drip from steel brakeline next to radiator. Have not repaired.
