Four problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My vehicle hydroplaned from the left lane into the right lane. The front of my vehicle impacted a vehicle in the right lane, my vehicle then continued into a retaining wall on the side of the interstate. I impacted the retaining wall head onat approx 35 mph. My vehicle was then struck in the passenger side by another vehicle. My airbags did not deploy in the accident.
Consumer's husband lost control of vehicle and hit a building. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Driver sustained extensive face injuries. Had to have top lip completely replaced. *akjlg.
While driving swerved to avoid another automobile and hit a concrete pillow head-on. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Consumer was injured.
In a frontal crash, the air bags failed to deploy, which resulted in extensive damage to vehicle.
