One problem related to front air bag has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving on highway at 55 mph left brakes locked up, vehicle went through a ditch and hit an enbankment. Upon impact, both airbags didn't deploy. Also, seat belt broke.
