One problem related to differential unit has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This for a Chevrolet c1500 truck, year 2000. The yoke in the differential won't stay tight. It has come loose twice. I have had it repaired twice. Looks like it is coming loose again. Starts to make a whining sound when it starts to get loose, especially when going downhill.
