Without warning as I attempted to make a turn at low speed just after start up of the engine the power steering failed. Vehicle then required brute strength turn turn. Was able to make it home and get repaired but if this had happened to daughter or wife they might not have been able to steer vehicle because of strength required. My mechanic that repaired vehicle stated that he has seen this occur in gm vans before without warning. Something to do with the immediate failure of power steering box. $362. 00 repair with labor.
