One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Owner was involved in a direct frontal impact traveling at 35 to 45 mph in which there was no deployment of driver's or passenger's side airbags. Problem with brakes are also in question.
