Emission Control problems of the 1997 Chevrolet Astro

One problem related to emission control has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Emission Control problem

Failure Date: 01/18/2005

While driving 70 mph vehicle commenced to lose speed. Vehicle would not accelerate more then 20-25 mph. Consumer was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer, who informed consumer that the oxygen sensor/ egr valve, and the catalytic converter malfunctioned. The consumer stated that the oxygen sensor/ egr valve, and the catalytic converter melted down. The engine light was on.
