Two problems related to ignition switch have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Ignition switch failed.
Ignition switch shorted out while consumer was driving, causing the driver's compartment to be full of smoke. Consumer had to pull to the side of the road. Dealer has been contacted.
