Two problems related to windshield have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vans sliding door glass shattered and broke when the owner closed her drivers door.
The latches on the left hand passenger's window: door hinge will not lock over center. This causes the window to slam shut when other vehicles are passing by. The problem has been reported to the dealership. The dealer has not been able to corrected.
