Two problems related to axle shaft have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes pads are wearing excessively. Front brakes/ rotors & wheel bearing were all replaced. Consumer received a phone call from GMC. Apparently, they know of problem, but no recall was issued. Something in the brake system is malfunctioning, according to the consumer.
The wheel bearings on the front wheels are spilling quite a bit of grease on the rims. The dealer was contacted about this problem. The dealer was not able to do anything about the problem. Please provide any further information.
