One problem related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch has been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When ignition is engaged to start vehicle a loud "bang" occurs in the transmission and vehicle jumps in reverse for a split second. Problem is intermittent and continues to occur.
