One problem related to tailgate has been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2007 Chevrolet Avalanche tailgate handle broke while opening tailgate. Many gm trucks seem to have this problem. Dealer did not have it in stock. The dealer recommended lmctruck. Com, but they do not carry Avalanche parts. This problem happened on our last Avalanche a 2005, when it turned 4 years old also. Judging from just doing a google tailgate handle search, this seems to be a widespread problem through many model years and trim levels.
