Six problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pedal went straight to the floor & vehicle finally stoppped after pumping the brakes. Dealer said that pads needed to be changed. Dealer was showing no concern for problem, nor have they done antyhing.

Complaint is regarding poor brake life. Front brake pads and rotor replacement at 38000 miles indicates a poor quality from the original equipment manufacturer. Associates reported the same condition and repair after 36000 miles on similar vehicle.
Vehicle is experencing excessive wear of front brake pads. Consumer has contacted dealer on several occasions, and pads were replaced. Rear drums have been machined, and rotors have been turned 3 times and are in need of replacement.
