Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problems of the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer

1 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2002

Egr valve failed, causing vehicle to shutdown. Vehicle loses power and doesn't restart. Dealer has replace it 2 times. Please provide more information.

2 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Failure Date: 05/27/1999

The engine continues to cut off if the vehicle has been drived for more that 30 minutes and the a/c is running. The engine light does not come on nor are there any warnings that the vehicle is going to die. Dealer cannot identify any problem because computer isn't registering any issues. The egr valve was replaced but problem continues.
