Two problems related to brake grinding noise have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While applying the brakes a loud grinding noise was heard coming from the front. Brake pedal went to the floor, and the brakes failed to stop vehicle. Consumer took vehicle to a repair shop.
Whenever the abs brakes are applied the, would make roug/ grinding noise & then would lose power. The noise is intermittent, but continuous. The brakes would lock up sometimes. Have no braking ability. Been to dealer & mechanic could not find cause of problem.
