One problem related to steering gear box has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I had the same steering gear failure referenced in the gm recall from 11/14/02. Except this recall does not cover my vehicle. Please consider investigating Blazers as well! dt.
