Three problems related to body have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The tread from a uniroyal laredo tire came off while I was driving on the freeway. I lost control of my vehicle momentarily until I was able to countersteer to correct the weaving and unstable driving of my vehicle. As the tread came off it damaged my wheel well, undercarraige behind the wheel, rear bumper and body trim. I had my son and three of his friends in the car at the time.
Due to location of drainage hose, the top pin hinge on passenger and driver doors rusted out. Consumer has contacted dealer. The hinge bushings are showing signs of wear, the dealer admits there is a problem with the drain locations, consumer states with the corrosion present on the hinge pins there is a possibility of breaking.
There is hot heat coming from the vents under the dashboard, and one of the vents is right near the gas pedal.
