Five problems related to front suspension control arm have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that when had tires rotated notice that all 4 ball joints were bad. Nlm.
Suspension front control arm broke and needed to be welded back together.
Both ball joints on each side of wheel are bad. If they break, wheels could possibly fall off, and consumer could loose steering.
Front ball joints failed, causing vehicle to shake, affecting control and wear of front tires. Please describe details.
Clunking sound in the front of vehicle. Took for alignment and was told that the problem was a loose ball joint. When we contacted the dealer for this problem, we were told that the ball joint could not be loose. They check and could not find a problem because everything was satisfactory according to factory testing. We are still experiencing this problem.
