Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer

The contact owned a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving at approximately 45 mph, the vehicle crashed head on into another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,650.

The contact owned a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving approximately 55 mph the steering wheel became very stiff. While compensating for the stiff steering the vehicle was involved in a rollover crash in which the air bags did not deploy. The contact was injured. A police report was filed. She was taken by helicopter to the hospital. The vehicle was towed and was never examined to determine the cause of failure. The failure and current mileages were 120,000.

While driving 55 mph the consumer was involved in frontal collision. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained major neck,back , and hip injuries. The vehicle was totaled. (see also odi ref. No. 10106755 - same vehicle).

While traveling at 55 mph consumer's vehicle struck another vehicle , and the air bag did not deploy. (see also odi ref. No. 10106730 - same vehicle).

During a 15 mph rear end collision front air bags did not deploy. Cdealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Vehicle involved in an accident which resulted in a rollover and the air bags did not deploy. The consumer wanted to know the status of her complaint.

While driving 45 mph the vehicle was involved in a collision but the air bags did not deploy.

Head on collision with solid cement bridge at 40+ mph. Air bags did not deploy, seat belts did not lock in place on impact nor during roll over on my 2000 chevy Blazer.

Consumer states at a 25mph vehicle crashed, however the airbags did not deploy. Cause unknown. Dealer notified. Consumer adds vehicle was struck head on by an out of control vehicle traveling 45 miles. The right front fender contacted squarely against consumers front bumper. Resulting impact totalled consumers Blazer. Inspectors were amazed that air bags did not deploy.

While driving through an intersection going 45mph vehicle would not stop when applying brakes. Currently, abs light stays on. The abs failure resuted in accident and air bag failed to deploy during accident.

In a head-on collision with a guardrail, both front air bags failed to deploy.

Consumer was driving at approximately 30-35 mph ,and to avoid a crash consumer ran into a tree head-on. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy, causing injuries.

While driving 25 mph andwithout warning a head on collision occurred. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy, and driver sustained minor injuries.

While driving 25-30 mph and without warning involved in a head-on collision. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Dealer has been notified. There were 2 injuries.
