Four problems related to car stall have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at highway speed the vehicle stalled without warning and coasted to the side of the road. The cause has not been determined. Please provide any additional information. In addition, consumer experienced vibrating when stopping. Dealer performed front and rear brake service by replacing worn out pads and rotors. Dealer also made repairs on lower ball joints, pitman and idler arm assembly.
Intermittently vehicle stalls, resulting in loss of control. Dealer has attempted to repair vehicle twice, and the problem still exists.
The vehicle has stalled numerous times, on one occasion when the vehicle stalled, steering locked up and an accidemt occured, the dealer has not been able to remedy the problem.
While driving vehicle stalls out. Consumer states that there are power surges. Upon sitting at a traffic light vehicle stalls, and will not proceed to go. Also when vehicle has sat overnight it will not start the next morning.
