general problems of the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer

Relay for 4 way flashers is clicking, online my problem with flasher relay and brake lights is listed under recall 01073b. I have no idea if this recall was done, done properly or just timed out.

It started with my gauges bouncing all over going on and off , then it felt like the brakes were on and I had to give it alot of gas to get going. Now the dash will work when I turn the key on but as soon as it starts it goes out with the exception of the oil pressure and the charging gauge. The transmission isnt working right at all and I dont dare drive it anywhere. The fuse box under the hood does not test right, only about half of it has power and I am at a loss there! there has been electrical probnlems with it ever since I bought it.

Fuel sensor problem that's been going on with a lot of 2000 chevy Blazer also trail Blazers and also the distributor there is no seal under the distributor cap cause it to have moisture and cause it not to run and you have to replace it this is to the company or whoever's in charge now the fuel system itself is called a spider sense or what I call it not to run it all the time they must be some type of filter besides the one on side of the vehicle itself because they go out within a year or maybe two years or so this must be addressed so hopefully I get some information to help fix the vehicle that I don't think you I hope I could get some information about it because the fule sensor is a big deal wen they last for about a year and then to buy one for about 400 dollars and then pay another 1000 dollars for labor I think that the injection for the fule sensor should be addressed hopefully have a re call thank you for taking the time to read this and hope you can help god bless.

I was driving yesterday when I smelled something burning. I looked and noticed my rear window was glowing orange and then the rear window exploded!.

Always smell fuel while driving replaced all fuel systems then all senors needed eplaced so I did that and now there telling me I have a electric promblems since buying this vehicle new I put over 6000. 00 dollars into and I still have all the same problems mostly with the fuel system I still smell alot of fuel when driving and back firing and shutting off in the middle of driving I have all my reciepts from work done on the whole fuel system and ive looked up this kind of Blazer and everyone who owned one has the same problems.

My 2000 Blazer LS 2dr 4x4 has ipc problems. The ipc lights have gone out and do not illuminate the gauges, this is a safety hazard when driving. The abs and parking brake indicator lights go on and off. The parking brake sticks and wont release. Due to the number of complaints, recalls, and service bulletins issued on these safety problems I think more should be done to hold the manufacturer responsible for repairing these defects. The first 11 digits of my VIN match at least 2 other vehicles first 11 digits and yet chevy doesn't feel they should fix the issue with all Blazers. I am concerned with the safety of my vehicle.

Smoke from steering column,after the smoke from the column the hazard lights and switch would not work, break lights would not work either. Gm dealer replaced the multifunction switch @ a cost of $438. 50 and said they never heard of this problem before. Vehicle was recalled and was apparently fixed for the same reason 6 yrs ago.

The "blinking noise" of my blinker won't stop. The blinkers work okay but the clicking will randomly click. 2000 chevy Blazer.

Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that the heater and air conditioner failed to function. In addition, the contact stated that the four wheel drive was activated but failed to engage and the oil pressure gauge displayed an incorrect reading. The abs warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the transfer case needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000. Djr.

Blinker sound contiunes when blinkers are not really on, it's annoying and an electrical problem, but could potentially cause an accident. Many car repair shops have heard of this same problem on the same vehicle.

I purchased my 2000 Blazer in 6/20/02 from a chevy dealer in PA . I purchased the extended warranty . I have until 6/07 or100000 miles I have replaced the coil and distributor cap and rotor 5 times a new fuel pump a catalytic converter windshield washer motor and turn signal switch it has gotten to the point that I can't even sell it to anyone private and I can't afford to keep it . There has been electrical and computer issues shorts that melted the fuse box under the hood that melted the relay for the fuel pump. Also there was a short that wiped the computer codes out and I had a rough time passing emission testing I am at the point the extended warranty does not want to spend any more on the vehicle. I have had the motor mounts replaced twice in 4 years. I have never been notified of any recalls orservice notices . I have had the vehicle serviced by licensed mechanics and had it serviced at the appropriate mileage required for the warranty.

The head light flickered and had gone out, the engine surged at 59 mph, and the vehicle experienced an oil leaked, when the turn signal was activated,the radio went go out, and the left turn signal on the headlight had gone out. Mr scc.

While driving 25 mph the transmission failed. The dealer was notified about 7 months ago but they could not duplicate or correct the problem. The dealer was notified of the shruddering and slippage of the transmission at 23863. The front differential pinion seal leaked, the check light was replaced due to the malfunctioning switch, the brake light had become inoperative due to an open circuit, the heating seat was inoperative, there was a rattle in right front suspension, the transmission had no reverse, and there was hard shifting into the forward gears.
