Two problems related to ignition switch have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Ever since I own this vehicle, the ignition switch does not lock. Therefore it is possible to leave the truck and not know the ignition switch is still in the on position. Also, the gas gauge bounces all over the place and I have to use the trip to know when I need gas. This has also been a problem since I own the truck. Occasionally, the low fuel light comes on (I know I have fuel) and the truck starts acting like it's low on gas.
Vehicle stalled and security light came on. Dealer replaced ignition switch.
