Two problems related to seat broken have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The seat back adjustment levers broke on both the driver and passenger seats. The metal shaft is defective. The cheverolet dealer quoted $300 per seat. There is a service bulletin issued #060601 for this problem and numerous complaints to the NHTSA web site. Cheverolet will not correct the problem because it has not been identified as a safety issue. If the drivers seat gets broken in the full recline position, this would be a safety hazard for the driver.
