Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated while having routine maintenance performed, the independent repair shop determined the rotors had pitted holes from rust. The rotors were replaced and the dealership was alerted.
The ocean salt ate the rotors. When this occurred the brakes and the pads were damaged. Manufacturer was providing no assistance although they were aware of the problem. Gm dealership wanted $1350. 00 to replace brake pads and rotors.
