One problem related to parking brake has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
It sounded like tin cans were tied to the back of our 2002 Blazer today (with around 37,000 miles) - we were told that the emergency parking brake pads exploded (the service manager's word) and ruined our rotors and rear brake pads, it will cost around $1200 to fix.
