I have found multiple times that the instrument panel (ipc) display and the center infotainment displays have gone dark while driving. This has put me in unsafe driving situations because I am unable to monitor my speed and other important information displayed on the dashboard, or to control critical safety controls such as headlights, and other adas safety controls. Several software updates have been installed by the dealership, but the problem has persisted, suggesting a hardware issue with the radio unit. The manufacture insist it is a software problem and that they are working on a solution. Declining to replace the radio under warranty, additionally, they want me to wait until a new update is released, and in the meantime, my bumper-to-bumper warranty is about to expire. I have found that the radio unit is the main control module for both displays, multiple adas controls, and headlights, and it should be recalled, with the manufacturer extending the warranty or including the radio as a safety feature under the extended powertrain warranty.

Accelerating without pressing gas pedal and gas pedal won't release with braking. Brakes overheated and this went on 10 minutes before I got it to release the gas pedal so I could safely stop. I almost hit 4 vehicles on the interstate because the gas pedal went to the floor all the sudden.

I was driving down the highway at 70mph using the adaptive cruise control. There was nobody in front of me, and suddenly the vehicle started picking up speed. I looked at the cruise control and it said 115mph, so I hit the brakes to override it and slow down. When I reset it for , ~70mph again it worked fine. This happened to me two other times with the same basic scenario. The speed is always over 100mph, and it always occurs when the adaptive cruise control has been in use for at least 30 minutes. I have an appt with the dealer that I bought it from to have it looked at. No warning lights and no other symptoms.
Thermostat is faulty at 55k miles. Purchased 2020 Blazer rs, certified used from chevy in October 2023. Less than 1 yr later, thermostat is stuck on cold, no ax or heat, drivers assist reduced notice. Same issues as previous documented complaints. The frustration is why this known issue is not covered under warranty or recall! I just had my 50k maintenance service done while this issue was occurring- service told me “well we cleared the codes” , 2 days later check engine is on, temp stuck on cold, fan is over worked and no a/c or heat- and driver assist turns off. The safety issues around causing more engine damage by improper cooling and reduction of driving assistance. Additionally, parking issue with vehicle not recognizing it’s in park and having to wiggle or jam the shifter- car drains battery and won’t lock until resolved. Car is took expensive to have a $1200 replacement not covered under warranty!.

Po128 temp. Below normal, happens on a regular basis, at least 2 times a week,.
Multiple safety-critical systems have malfunctioned since shortly after purchase, continuing to this day. The most serious is the forward collision braking, which has triggered randomly during normal driving. These braking events have occurred on highways and surface streets, posing a serious risk if a vehicle were following closely. During arbitration, the manufacturer admitted this is a known defect with no current fix, yet continues to return the vehicle marked as “repaired. ” additional issues include: adaptive cruise control failure intermittent charging failures (won’t initiate or randomly stops mid-charge) infotainment screen freezing or going blank inconsistent air conditioning performance rear hatch failing to open/close and requiring physical force bluetooth audio that disconnects unless the vehicle is powered off for 15+ minutes these problems have been reported to two gm-authorized dealerships. One repair attempt at a second location was ignored in arbitration. I also contacted gm corporate multiple times directly, requesting support. My attempts were either unanswered or dismissed, with no action taken. Many concerns were labeled “unable to duplicate,” even when I provided documentation. No warning lights appear with braking or charging failures. Most issues temporarily resolve after a full power-down, suggesting a software or control system fault. The manufacturer participated in arbitration and acknowledged the unresolved defects, but refused to provide further oversight or assign a factory technician. The vehicle is available for inspection. I am reporting this because the problems are ongoing and impact safety, reliability, and functionality.
While driving the vehicle, an airbag alert goes off recommending service. It does not matter what speed I'm driving, or necessarily the weather. But it does tend to go off more frequently if it's hot or cold out. I have brought the vehicle in for service, but they can't seem to figure it out. Also, while driving, an adaptive cruise alert goes off at times. I have serviced the vehicle at least three times for this. It is happening less, but still happening.
